East Coast University graduates get better jobs or higher

got a new job with better pay or received a promotion
directly related to the completion of a course of study and

20. Why the
Tuition of AECU is low compared to others?
American East
Coast University tuition is a fraction of the cost of
classroom universities. Your tuition payment does not go to
cover the expenses of classrooms, lawns, gymnasiums,
libraries, sports programs and the maintenance staff. So ,
we are able to operate on such low fees. Fees once paid in
full or in part for a course will not be refunded under any
circumstances
21. How to
differentiate between a Diploma Mill and an accredited
University?
Here are
few tips:
Most universities online claim to have accreditations that
are from bogus accrediting agencies.
To add to the confusion the students who look for academic
credentials desperately whether it is for job promotions,
immigration or any professional purposes, fall in the trap
of these flashy online universities offering degrees based
ONLY on Life experience!!
22. How is AECU
different from these?
AECU also
offers degrees based on experience, then why AECU should
not be called a mill?
The AECU DOES NOT offer degrees
based on life experience. Life Experience is a meaningless
term! Imagine a barber getting an MBA degree just because he
has life experience!!
Most of the
online universities would not even ask you a single question
except for credit card details These online universities
would not even consider your prior learning, age, or even
your physical existence! There was an interesting case where
a fictitious person got a Phd from an online university just
by paying a few hundred dollars!
Recently the US State department published the names of
persons who have bought degrees from bogus universities.
Compare this to AECU:
AECU accepts VALID WORK EXPERIENCE only to give extra
credits to the student's academic work. The experience
certificate is thoroughly checked by the AECU consultants
based worldwide (phone calls, letters, verification
agencies). If the work Experience certificate turns out to
be false then the student can NEVER continue in any course
offered by AECU. AECU doesn't claim any accreditations from
Bogus agencies on the internet.
AECU doesn't claim accreditation from any of the 6 regional
accreditors in the United States. The 6 regional accreditors
are PRIVATE agencies and not government agencies. AECU only
goes for Government accreditation. In United States,
accreditation is a voluntary process and not mandatory. AECU
has got accreditation from Government bodies worldwide to
justify its claims of authenticity. WE BELIEVE IN DIRECT
GOVERNMENT RECOGNITION & LICENSE and NOT through PRIVATE
AGENCIES
AECU programs
have been accepted even by big corporate firms. To list an
example: AECU graduate was recently appointed the finance
manager in a Multi National Bank in Dubai. Emirates Airlines
has many employees with AECU qualifications. The list is
unending with big names such as Virgin Atlantic, Etisalat,
Barclays, Sony etc.
23. What
Accreditation does AECU have as of today?
AECU believes
in global recognition of its programs both by government
institutions as well as by corporates. AECU is a private
university registered under the American Education Council.
The American Education Council is licensed by the State of
Delaware, USA. All the activities of American Education
Council, USA are in full compliance with the laws of
Delaware State legislation under section 2.1, Article II.
AECU has campuses in various countries including African
nations such as Sudan, Chad, Sao Tome etc. AECU is licensed
to operate in The Republic of Sudan through its Human Link
campus in Khartoum. The by laws state that the Human link
campus of AECU is authorized to offer distance education to
students of Middle east and Africa. All the degrees would be
attested for Visa, immigration & professional purposes.
In short your degree from AECU will be:
1- Notarized & Authenticated by Attorney in the US
2- Attested by the State of New York / State of Delaware
3- Attested by the US State Department in Washington
4- Signed by the Secretary of State, USA
5- Signed by the Secretary of State, State of New York /
Delaware
6- Verified by the American Education Council, USA
7- Attested by the embassy where the certificate has to be
used
8- Attested by the Foreign Affairs Ministry for visa
purposes
In certain cases the need for verification arises. AECU
provides letter of verification duly signed by the Registrar
of the University confirming the student ID, Name and
course. The prospective employer can also directly contact
the University if such a need arises.
24. Why is AECU not accredited by
Regional accreditors in the United States?
AECU is a private university that is based not only in the
US but worldwide and needs constant flexibility in its
programs due to its global reach. Most American Universities
cater only to American Students whereas 95 % of the AECU
students are Non US residents. Mere accreditation doesn't
mean quality assurance. Universities such as Harvard are NOT
accredited! So can we say that it doesn't offer highest
quality education?
Our programs are based on the American Education pattern but
modified and restructured to suit the regional requirements.
Most of AECU students are Non-US citizens. AECU offers
programs for global citizens and hence doesn't need regional
accreditation in the United States from the 6 regional
accreditors. If any university comes under the 6 regional
accreditors then programs become very rigid and unacceptable
both cost wise and infrastructure wise. AECU's parent
university is operating within the guidelines the Ministry
of Higher Education in its home country.
The second most important factor is the costs / course fee
involved. To get a US degree that is regionally accredited
means spending nearly a fortune! This still doesn't
guarantee a job, easy entry into any university or any
special preference. Then why would students prefer these
degrees! Truly 94 % of the students do not prefer this
route and prefer the AECU route.....
AECU is also
regionally accredited in AU countries. It is licensed to
operate, offer programs campus and distance mode through its
Khartoum campus (Human Link Campus of AECU).
25. Quality Comes For a Price-- is it
True?
Well, yes for
a reason and NO for another reason. As far as AECU is
concerned our fee structure is the lowest in the world. This
is because we use parallel campuses to divide the official
and academic work. We have the least number of employees
compared to the size and reach of the organization! All
these makes our operations most Cost Effective. So we can
afford to charge low fee. We do not compromise on quality of
education.
26. Can I apply for higher education
with these degrees from AECU?
Yes, you can
apply. The only thing you should keep in mind is that AECU
doesn't guarantee admissions to any other university. Just
like any university, you will be awarded for what you are
and what academic work you have undertaken either through
distance or campus learning. No university in the world will
guarantee you any admission based on its degree. For any
specific details you must check with the prospective
university prior to applying.
